Karachi: Three people were injured while putting up resistance during a robbery in Korangi area.

Rescue sources said that some unknown suspects tried to rob three persons in Korangi. Upon resistance the suspects opened fire on them, injuring them. They were rushed to a nearby local hospital for first aid.

Meanwhile, a suspect was arrested in an injured condition during police encounter in Momin Abad area.

Around the same time, five suspects were arrested by law enforcement agencies during a search operation in adjacent areas of SP Baldia.
Arm and ammunition have also been recovered from their possession.

Police said that all arrested suspects were involved in various murder and robbery cases.
