KARACHI - A Rangers personal was killed while another injured over offering resistance during a robbery bid here in the remits of Arambagh Police Station on Thursday.
As per details, Sub Inspector Siddique and Constable Madad Ali went to buy some sports stuff near Light House on a motorbike where some gunmen intercepted them and tried to snatch their motorbike. The gunmen opened fire on both the Rangers officials over offering resistance and fled away. The injured security officials were taken to the Civil Hospital Karachi where doctors declared Madad Ali dead as Siddique is in critical condition.
The body was handed over to Rangers officials after autopsy but no case yet to be registered till filing of this report.
