KARACHI- The State Bank of Pakistan has extended the deadline to August 16, 2010 for submission of claims by banks/DFIs/MFBs under the Prime Ministers Fiscal Relief Package to rehabilitate economic life in Khyber Pakthunkhwa, Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Provincially Administered Tribal Areas (PATA), SBP said on Thursday. According to SBP, earlier, the State Bank had fixed July 31, 2010 as the deadline for banks/DFIs/MFBs to claim mark-up rate differential under the Package. The deadline has been extended to facilitate banks/DFIs/MFBs and the borrowers of these areas.
