LAHORE Bank Alflah Lahore Blues won their Lahore Premier League match against RBS by three runs here on Thursday. Bating first, Bank Alflah Lahore Blues gathered 136 for all with Salman Arif making 29 and Muhammad Waheed getting 24. Containing the Lahore Blues batsmen to a low total, RBS bowler Usman Maqbool took five wickets for 34 while Umar Sabir, Salman Rahat and Waqas Tariq shared one wicket each. In reply, RBS batsmen spoiled the good work of their bowler Usman and was scuttled out for 133. Kashif Raza with 29 was the highest scorer while Hafiz Salman made 17. On their part, the Lahore Blues bowlers Mateen Ijaz three for 20, Gahur Abbas got two for 22, Muhmmad Tariq two for 28 and Muhammad Farhan took one wicket to made the win easy for their team. Usman Maqbool was declared the man of the match for taking five wickets.
