3 hurt as aircraft catches fire





QUETTA - An aircraft of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) caught fire at Samungli Airbase in the provincial capital on Tuesday.
According to sources, the PAF plane was being repaired at Samungli Airbase when it caught fire with a huge blast, damaging it badly.
The firefighters put out the fire.
The sources said three PAF personnel, named as Rizwan, Ansar and Kashif, sustained minor burn injuries when they were trying to extinguish the fire. “Two blasts occurred soon after the aircraft caught fire,” the sources said, adding that F-7 aircraft was being repaired when the incident occurred. The PAF is looking into the matter.
