ISLAMABAD - Pakistan No 1 tennis player Aqeel Khan started his Virgo Champ Subh-e-Nau National Tennis 2012 campaign in style as he disposed off Hasan Riaz in one-sided affair on Tuesday here at Islamabad Club. Aqeel outclassed Hassan Riaz in a one-sided game while Rashid Khan emerged from brink to record a stunning victory by 2-6, 6-3, 6-2. Ahmed Ch, Shehzad Khan, Usman Ijaz, Shahzad, Heera Ashiq and Yasir Khan entered next round. Talha Zubair beat Hashim Khan in boy’s U-18 first round match while Raja Shahid, Arham Atique, Hasnain Manzoor, Ahmed Babar and Asadullah also qualified for second round. Eight players qualified for second round of boys juniors U-14.
