LAHORE – ‘Ban Baas’ is a new addition to Urdu literature in which Raja Anwar has beautifully portrayed the miseries and painful stories of migrants while writing his own story. These views were expressed by participants in a book launching ceremony of Raja Anwar’s “Ban Baas” held at Punjab University Undergraduate Study Centre here on Tuesday. Renowned columnist Muneeb ur Rehman Shami, Hassan Nisar, Sajjad Mir, Saadullah Jan, Prof Dr Sajid Ali and people from various walks of life participated in the event. The speakers lauded Raja Anwar’s efforts being chairman of Punjab Education Foundation and said that his life’s aim was to achieve high objective in life. The speakers said that Mr Anwar had narrated his experience in an excellent manner in the book. They said that the people who wanted change must study “Ban Baas” for inspiration.
