LAHORE - The Government College University (GCU) Lahore has clean-swept the Inter-Collegiate Swimming Championship 2015 organised by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore at the swimming pool of FC University Lahore. The GCU team set an unprecedented record of securing all the 19 gold medals besides four silver and six bronze medals at the championship. Ravian Haider Batoor was declared the best swimmer with all over seven gold medals. Team captain M Farhan Shahid won three gold and three bronze medals. GCU swimmers Rehman Javed, national record-holder Hassan Ali Raja, Usama Wyne and Azmat Ullah also won medals in different events of the championship. GCU vice chancellor Prof Dr Hassan Amir Shah and director sports Khadim Ali Khan met the swimming team and congratulated them on their achievement.
