Rawalpindi-Superintendent of Police (SP) Kohsar Division Faisal Salim has directed the station house officers of Murree Circle to launch a crackdown against the proclaimed offenders and gangs of criminals in order to reduce the crime ratio.
He also asked the SHOs to ensure merit while registration of First Information Reports (FIRs) and provide the victims with justice.
SP Faisal Salim issued these instructions in a crime meeting held here on Thursday.
According to details, SP Kohsar Division Faisal Salim held crime meeting in his office to review the crime situation in his circle. All SHOs attended the meeting. SP asked the SHOs to net all the POs and criminals to reduce crime rate in Murree. He said that the SHOs should uphold merit while filing cases and also ensure recoveries and punishments to criminals from court of laws. He said that the SHOs and subordinates should behave the citizens politely and enhance the patrolling in their areas. He also ordered the subordinates to eliminate menace of drugs from Murree. 
He said that police are committed to provide security to citizens and crime reduction.
