KASB Bank registers half yearly profit of Rs371 million
KARACHI (PR): The Board of Directors of KASB Bank Limited, which met in Karachi the other day, has approved its half yearly results for 2013. The bank’s operational profit for the first six months of 2013 is to the tune of Rs. 371 million which has recorded improvement over 2012 full year operational profit. This is a reflection of overall improvement, particularly in the deposit mix resulting in reduction in cost of deposit, close monitoring of administrative cost, and handling of Home Remittances worth Rs. 8 billion approximately.
Commenting on the occasion, Bilal Mustafa, President & CEO, KASB Bank said, “The results show that we are moving in the right direction. I am expecting that this positive trend will continue in the future as well.”

Abbott introduces Mospel Cream

Free medical camp

In 2013 FFC CSR in collaboration with Al Shifa Eye Trust (Rwp) initiated a program for the treatment, cure and awareness on eye related medical subjects in the proximity of Rawalpindi District. FFC and Al Shifa are arranging 5 eye camps in remote and far off locations. In continuation with the successful 1st camp and 2nd camp at Chak Beli Khan campand Kahuta where 1436 patients were treated as OPD and another 36 were referred for surgeries.
In continuation the eye specialists and support team from FFC and Al Shifa have covered Karoor, Kotli Sattian on 28th August. The free eye camp was setup at Tehsil Basic Health Unit, being centrally located for all the patients converging from surrounding communities and villages.
