Kohat: The sister of Asma Rani has appealed to the PTI government and the whole nation to provide justice to her sister and security to her family.

Asma’s sister Safia has alleged that the accused, Mujahid, had hurled threats in the past as well.

She said that her sister in prior to her death, revealed the name of her attacker "Mujahid Afridi.

Safia Rani, the sister of deceased Asma Rani, who lives in London, said her sister was killed by the culprits under a well thought out plan as the main accused, Mujahid Afridi, had already got a visa and ticket for Saudi Arabia.

0She alleged that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) district president Kohat Aftab Alam, who is uncle of Mujahid Afridi, already knew threats to Asma Rani.

Safia said Mujahid had once snatched the purse of Asma Rani and her mother had complained to police in this regard.

She s aid police had not registered the report of the incident till the escape of the accused, as he belonged to an influential family.

According to media reports, Mujahid is already a married person and also have two children.

Asma Rani, a third-year MBBS student at Ayub Medical College, was killed in her hometown of Kohat.

The primary suspect, Mujahid Afridi, shot her dead over a marriage refusal, according to the victim's family.

It is pertinent to mention here that activists of various political and civil society organisations including Khyber Pakhtunkhaw Young Doctors Association are holding demonstration in across the province to record their protest against the killing of a student of Ayub Medical College Abbotabad, Asma Rani, in Kohat on Jan 28.

YDA KPK announced to close all province hospital if the province government cannot arrest the culprit within 72 hour.

The protestors were of the view that the provincial government has failed to protect its citizens.
