Islamabad: Advisor to the Prime Minister on foreign affairs and National security Sartaj Aziz has said that the government is considering to raise the issue of Indian agency RAW's involvement in Pakistan, especially in the province of Baluchistan and FATA with the United Nations and other international forums.

Sartaj Aziz while answering questions in the National Assembly said that Pakistan has taken up the issue of RAW's activities in Pakistan, with various foreign leaders and with India bilaterally and has utilized media to expose Indian involvement in terrorist activities in the country. He said during the foreign secretary level talks held in March this year, the foreign secretary had raised the issue with the Indian counterpart. He said the Prime Minister will also raise this issue at the General Assembly.

Replying to a supplementary question, he said the government has already condemned the recent terrorism incident took place in Gurdaspure India and rejected the Indian allegations of Pakistan's involvement in it. He said it has also been made clear that Pakistan has the capability to give befitting reply, in case of any threat from Indian side.

To a question, Sartaj Aziz told the House that there are 2309 Pakistanis imprisoned in Saudi Arabia. He said the nature of their crimes include forgery, fraud, possession, sale and trafficking of narcotics, murder, adultery, bribery, immoral activities and overstay or illegal stay. He said the cases of 1085 prisoners have been followed up by the missions, during the year 2014-15. He said Pakistan's missions abroad have been directed to help out the Pakistani prisoners in foreign countries.

Answering a question, Parliamentary Secretary Muhammad Shafqat Hayat Khan said there are approximately 3.8 million Pakistanis currently working in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. He said the share of Pakistani manpower in the GCC countries is reasonable. However, continuous efforts are being made to further increase manpower export to this region.

He told the House that the Overseas Employment Corporation has sent 7240 persons abroad for employment, during the last five years.

To a question, Shafqat Hayat Khan said Kuwait has not stopped renewal of visas to Pakistanis, who are residing or working in Kuwait. However, he said, it is a fact that Pakistanis residing in Kuwait are not allowed to call their relatives in the host country, because of visa restrictions on Pakistani nationals along with five other countries including Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen and Syria. He said the government has raised the issue with Kuwaiti government, for lifting of visa restrictions on Pakistanis at highest level and hoped that it will be resolved soon.

Replying to a question, Minister of State for Interior Muhammad Balighur Rehman told the House that new trade policy will be announced soon, focusing on increasing exports of the country envisaging diversification and value addition. To a question, he said considerable increase has been made in the country's exports to the European countries after Pakistan got the GSP Plus status. Balighur Rehman said that Pakistan is renegotiating Free Trade Agreement with China to improve the balance of trade between the two countries. He said Ministry of Commerce has regularly been conducting trade promotional activities like exhibitions, trade fair and road shows in order to further increase Pakistan's exports in South Asia, China and Malaysia.

Parliamentary Secretary for States and Frontier Regions Shaheen Shafiq informed the House that 7384 registered families of TDPs from South Waziristan have been returned to their homes while 63740 are remaining. She said 9006 unregistered TDP families from South Waziristan have also returned to their homes. She pointed out that there are total 71124 verified families of TDPs of South Waziristan Agency.
