LAHORE: The Yakeen Ka Safar duo, Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza recently won the best onscreen couple award at the Hum Awards in Toronto.
Sajal's sister, Saboor Aly, took to Instagram to share a beautiful picture of the couple holding their awards.
She penned down a heartfelt message for the duo, “This is just not an adorable picture for me; it is a reminder as to how people can achieve greatness together.”
“From the moment Sajal started working with Ahad in their first project, I knew that these two will create a great chemistry on screen as Ahad was just as hardworking as my sister; these awards are a proof of that.”, she wrote.
“With so much to offer, these two have been immensely humble throughout their success and that is what makes them special to me and to the entire fans circle.
The 'O Rangreza' starlet won six awards, sweeping all the nominations she was selected in.
“For the first time in the fraternity’s history, a nominee won all awards where she was nominated for. This clean sweep speaks volumes of sheer commitment! I am utterly proud of you, Sajal. Trust me I know, Amma would have been even prouder!” Saboor added.
“I won’t be a fool in forgetting how Ahad has kept his head down and remained strong amidst all the critics, focusing on his work only to be awarded graciously,” Saboor said.
