Deposed chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry Saturday left his residence in Judges Colony Islamabad for Peshawar to address a convention of Peshawar High Court Bar. Large number of lawyers and political workers were gathered at the residence of Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry before his leaving for Peshawar and were chanting slogans for restoration of the judiciary.  Stringent security measures were taken for the deposed chief justice and four mobile vans were moving with the vehicle of Iftikhar Chaudhry. Moreover, two bulletproof vehicles with mobile phone jamming devices were also accompanied with the convoy.
