TERMING the reports about his resignation baseless, President Pervez Musharraf has said that he is not quitting his office, reported a private TV channel. Musharraf, who attended a dinner hosted by Senator Nisar Memon in Islamabad on Friday, said that Lahore was the epicentre of all rumours and a particular political party was busy in provoking people. "Neither I am resigning nor I will go anywhere," Musharraf said, adding he would continue fulfilling his duties as per the Constitution. He said that he wanted the government to address the issues, as it had won the nation's mandate. He further said that it was the responsibility of the politicians to run the country's affairs. "However, my full support in this connection will be with the government," he assured.
