Musharraf's return seems unlikely

LAHORE - Former president Pervez Musharrafs return to Pakistan appears more and more difficult, as the security agencies have told him that required protective arrangements after his homecoming are not possible in the prevailing situation. They also warned that his return is not beneficial for him, and therefore, he must make any decision after thorough deliberations. On the other hand, disappointment has also overwhelmed the office bearers of Musharrafs political party, as he is not returning home in the near future. However, he would decide the matter on the eve of next general elections. It has also been learnt that Musharraf has limited his activities to home in London and meeting close associates. The reason is stated to be the discouraging feedback after the formation of his political party, as no big name joined the new entity.
