Islamabad-The National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage (Lok Virsa) Mandwa Film Club organised screening of film “Baazi” on Saturday evening at the Virsa Media Centre.  Film Actress Nisho Begum was the chief guest on the occasion. Executive Director Lok Virsa Dr Fouzia Saeed also attended the event.

and a large number of people from twin cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi also participated in the event.

Nisho was very talented and glamorous actress. Film ‘Baazi’ was her first film released in 1970.  She was offered the role of lead actress opposite to Mohammad Ali and Nadeem in her debut, mega hit film `Baazi,’ in 1970.

Moreover, Mohammad Ali and Nadeem appeared together for the first time in the film `Baazi’ (Director, Late Iqbal Shehzad, composer, Sohail Rana.

In the event Nisho Begum shared her experiences on her almost four-decade-long film career.

“I am really happy that my first-ever film was screened and am glad that old films are still an attraction for audiences. I was lucky enough to work with the legendary actors of my time,” she said.

She has more than 60 films to her credit, including Yeh Aman, Kubra Aashiq, Dulhan Rani, Bazaar, Angary, Namak Haram, Rangeela and Dharkan, amongst others.
