Radio Pakistan Peshawar’s first woman station director takes charge

Peshawar   -   The first woman Station Director of Radio Pakistan Peshawar Iffat Jabbar took charge of her office in Broadcasting House Peshawar. PBC headquarters Islamabad issued notification of her promotion to the post of controller BPS- 20 in this regard. Iffat Jabbar is the daughter of famous broadcaster Syed Abdul Jabbar (late). She joined Radio Pakistan Peshawar as a Programme Producer. Iffat Jabbar presented Pakistan on various national and international forums including BBC London, Voice of America, British Council, Deutsche Welle Germany, Radio Singapore, Radio Japan, Radio Bangladesh, Australia, and Malaysia, and got the successful women awards. She has also worked a lot on the woman empowerment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and achieved PBC National Excellence Award in this regard. On her professional work and devotion to broadcasting, the SAARC declared her a Star Woman. After assuming charge of the office of the station director, all the staff members of Radio Pakistan Peshawar congratulated her and hoped that she will continue her work for the quality production and welfare of employees with the same spirit and devotion.She expressed her commitment to preparing quality programs according to the wishes of the listeners.
