Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, accompanied by Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), visited the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Rawalpindi to inquire about the well-being of soldiers and civilians injured during Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyan-e-Marsous.
During the visit, the Prime Minister praised the courage, commitment, and professionalism demonstrated by the injured soldiers in the line of duty. He expressed deep appreciation for their sacrifices and resilience.
“The way Pakistan’s armed forces and the entire nation fought this war is unprecedented,” said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
He added that the unwavering resolve shown by the people of Pakistan has become a defining chapter in the country’s military history.
The visit was part of the national observance of Yom-e-Tashakur (Day of Gratitude) and Marka-e-Haq, honoring the sacrifices made in defense of the nation.
