Baba Guru Nanak International Kabaddi Cup kicks off in Lahore

LAHORE  -  The Sarsabz Baba Guru Nanak International Circle Style Gold Kabaddi Cup 2025, organized by the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) in collaboration with Fatima Fertilizer, officially kicked off in Lahore. The three-day tournament, running from April 16 to 18, features kabaddi teams from Pakistan, India, and Iran.

The launch was formally announced at a press conference held at a local hotel, attended by team captains and event sponsors. Present on the occasion were Iran’s team captain Ali Safari, India’s team captain Gurmanjeet Singh, Pakistan’s captain Kaleemullah Jutt, and representatives from the title sponsor, Fatima Fertilizer. All three captains expressed their commitment to promoting kabaddi as well as peace and friendship through the sport.Matches of the tournament will take place in Lahore, with participation from India’s SPGC Tigers, Iran’s Lions of Tabriz, and Pakistan’s Eagles, each bringing their unique flair to the field. Speaking on behalf of Fatima Fertilizer, Director Marketing & Sales Ms. Rabeel Sidhu Zai said: “We are proud to sponsor the Sarsabz Baba Guru Nanak Kabaddi Cup, which is not just a sporting event but a celebration of our shared culture and heritage. TheSarsabz Baba Guru Nanak Kabaddi Cup is more than just a tournament – itis a message of regional friendship and unity through sport.”
