Jamaat-e-Islami Emir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman on Friday proclaimed that India’s arrogance has been “reduced to dust,” reaffirming the unbreakable bond between Pakistan and Kashmir, calling them “one soul.”

Speaking at a Youm-e-Tashakur (Day of Gratitude) gathering near the Line of Control in Abbaspur, the Jamaat leader was warmly welcomed by residents of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, as chants of “Pakistan Zindabad” echoed throughout the area.

“We thank Allah that India’s pride has been shattered. This is Pakistan’s victory. Kashmir is the lifeblood of Pakistan,” Hafiz Naeem told the crowd.

He urged the federal government to ensure the safety and security of residents along the LoC and to remain steadfast in seeking a just resolution of the Kashmir issue in line with UN resolutions.

Warning against complacency, he stressed the need for holding rulers accountable, asserting, “There can be no compromise on Kashmir other than the right to self-determination.”
