Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched province-wide celebrations marking a decisive victory in the Marka-e-Haq o Batil.
CM officially commenced the celebrations with a flag-hoisting ceremony, attended by provincial ministers, advisors, special assistants, and senior government officials. The ceremony also featured the playing of the national anthem.
Tributes were paid to the martyrs and veterans of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, with Quran recitations and prayers held for their ranks’ elevation.
Additional prayers were offered for the swift recovery of civilians and military personnel injured in recent Indian aggression.
In accordance with the Chief Minister’s instructions, special Fajr prayers were offered in mosques across Punjab for peace, stability, and national prosperity, with widespread public participation reflecting unity and patriotism.
Public and private buildings were decorated with national flags, floral wreaths were laid at the graves of martyrs, and rallies were held throughout the province to honour the Pakistan Armed Forces.
Educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities, organized commemorative events to mark the occasion.
Addressing the nation, CM Maryam Nawaz congratulated the people, stating, “The brave falcons of the Pakistan Air Force crushed the arrogance of the enemy. We are grateful to Almighty for the glorious success of our armed forces.”
