ISLAMABAD  -  The 100-Index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a bearish trend on Friday, losing 312.77 points, a negative change of 0.26 percent, closing at 119,649.14 points as compared to 119,961.91 points on the last trading day.  A total of 572,287,175 shares were traded during the day as compared to 698,965,992 shares the previous trading day, whereas the price of shares stood at Rs29.026 billion against Rs39.089 billion on the last trading day.  As many as 465 companies transacted their shares in the stock market, 206 of them recorded gains and 209 sustained losses, whereas the share price of 50 companies remained unchanged.  The three top trading companies were At-Tahur Limited with 44,633,748 shares at Rs49.83 per share, Cnergyico PK with 32,290,577 shares at Rs7.68 per share and Lotte Chemical with 28,644,102 shares at Rs20.98 per share.

PIA Holding Company Limited witnessed a maximum increase of Rs1,132.52 per share closing at Rs12,457.67, whereas runner-up was Khyber Textile Mills Limited with Rs107.59 rise in its share price to close at Rs1,183.53.

Unilever Pakistan Foods Limited witnessed a maximum decrease of Rs156.31 per share price, closing at Rs22,725.50, whereas the runner-up Nestle Pakistan Limited with Rs88.22 decline in its per share price to Rs7,091.78.
