ISLAMABAD  -  Pakistan People’s Party leader Senator Saleem Mandviwalla on Monday urged the government to immediately declare an emergency in the flood-affected areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In a statement, he said that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were facing severe hardships and were in urgent need of relief, rehabilitation, and government support.

Mandviwalla stressed that temporary shelters, food, clean drinking water, medicines, and financial assistance must be provided without delay to safeguard the lives of the affected families.
