LAHORE  -   The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore performed it’s duty on Sunday, traditionally a non-working day, by distributing compensation cheques to victims of housing scams. Acting on the special directives of DG NAB Lahore, Ehtram Dar, the bureau facilitated the smooth disbursement of funds to affected citizens. According to NAB officials, over 1,446 affectees of the Formanites Housing Society case are being compensated, with a total amount exceeding Rs. 1.34 billion. The distribution took place at NAB Lahore’s office, where citizens were provided with proper facilities to ensure a comfortable and transparent process. The affectees thanked NAB Chairman, DG NAB Lahore, and the officers involved for their continued efforts in securing the recovery and ensuring its timely distribution. They credited the personal initiative of DG Ehtram Dar for the successful recovery of billions of rupees. Affectees expressed satisfaction over the process, stating that cheques were provided without any hassle or delay. Many praised the arrangements and the professionalism of NAB Lahore staff, calling the bureau’s efforts a significant step toward justice and public trust restoratio.
