SAU VC honoured with IEP distinguished engineer award

HYDERABAD  -  The Vice Chancellor (VC) of Sindh Agriculture University (SAU),Tandojam, Engr Prof Dr Altaf Ali Siyal has been conferred with the prestigious “Distinguished Engineer Award” by the Institution of Engineers Pakistan (IEP) in recognition of his exceptional contributions to engineering education and national development. The award was presented during a grand ceremony held on the occasion of the 77th IEP Foundation Day at the IEP Convention Hall, Karachi. The event was presided over by Engr Suhail Bashir, Chairman of IEP Karachi Center, and attended by a large number of dignitaries, professionals from the engineering sector, academic leaders and researchers.

Dr Siyal was recognized for his remarkable achievements in advancing engineering education,his visionary leadership, and his impactful role in promoting research, innovation and community development. His career, marked by dedication and excellence, has earned him a distinguished place in the academic and engineering circles of Pakistan. The ceremony also featured “Pakistan’s Glorious Victory Celebrations”, held to honor the valor, professionalism, and sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces. Speakers paid rich tribute to the defenders of the nation for their strategic excellence and effective use of modern technology in safeguarding national sovereignty and elevating Pakistan’s image globally.
