LAHORE - The 26th National IKO-Matsushima Kyokushin Karate Championships 2025 are set to take place from May 23 to 25 at the Capt Fasih Babar Amin Shaheed Sports Complex, DHA Phase VI, Lahore. The event will bring together karate talent from across Pakistan, with fighters invited from all four provinces, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir, and key institutional teams such as Railways, Police, Army, UET Lahore, GCU Lahore, DHA Sports Board, LDA Sports Board, Punjab University, Bahria School & College, and several other schools, colleges, and organizations. The championship will be contested in both male and female categories. Men will compete in -60kg and +60kg (open) divisions, while women will participate in -50kg and +50kg (open) weight classes. All participants must be above 18 years for male and above 16 years for female categories. Prizes will be awarded up to the 8th position, with winners receiving trophies, medals, certificates, and special gifts.
