Excise and Taxation (E&T) department on Monday claimed that 69 properties were sealed due to non-payment of property tax in different parts of the city, said spokesman of E&T.
He said that where properties were sealed included Revenue Cooperative Society, PIA Society, WAPDA Town, Valencia, Punjab Society, Nasheman Iqbal, and Tariq Garden. The properties sealed included houses, beauty parlor, Car workshops and stores etc. Spokesman said that notices were issued to the owners of the properties to pay their property tax but they paid no heed to this side.
Ultimately on the direction of senior officers above said properties were sealed.
