BLA withdraws ceasefire

QUETTA - The defunct Baloch Liberation Army has withdrawn its unilateral ceasefire. In a statement issued here on Sunday, BLA spokesman Beebarg Baloch said that last year the BLA had announced a unilateral ceasefire but alleged excesses by the government continued against Balochs. He alleged that over 50 innocent people were killed by security forces in Dera Bugti during last three days operation and added that their excesses were also continued in other parts of Balochistan. The BLA spokesman said that keeping in view the anti-Baloch designs of the government, the organisation has decided to withdraw its unilateral announcement of ceasefire. It may be mentioned here that the Baloch Republican Army (BRA) also announced withdrawal of unilateral cease announcement two days ago.
