Attock - The people of Attock stand by the Pakistan Defence Forces against Indian aggression.
In this regard, a rally was organized under the auspices of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz to pay tribute to the Pakistan Defence Forces and national security institutions. The rally was led by Member National Assembly and Member Judicial Commission Sheikh Aftab Ahmed. The rally was attended by Member Provincial Assembly Malik Aetbar Khan, former MPA Iftikhar Ahmed Khan, senior lawyer Sheikh Hasanuddin, former Vice Chairman Malik Bashir Awan, senior lawyer Syed Azmat Ali Khan, senior politician Haji Akram Khan, former Chairman Municipality Sheikh Nasir Mahmood, former Vice Chairman Municipality Attock Malik Tahir Awan, District President Muslim League-Nawaz Attock Saleem Shahzad, District Secretary Information Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Dr. Mian Rashid Mushtaq, Mian Shahnawaz Shani, Malik Murid Abbas, Malik Asim Kamrial, Malik Nadeem Khan and a large number of citizens including other political leaders, journalists, lawyers, business community.
The participants of the rally were showered with flowers and national songs were also presented. Slogans expressing solidarity with the Pakistan Army were also raised in the rally. Tributes were paid to the soldiers and martyrs of the Pakistan defence forces. Addressing the rally, MNA and Member Judicial Commission Sheikh Aftab Ahmed said that he salutes the leadership of Army Chief General Asim Munir. Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif have vowed to defend Pakistan. Sheikh Aftab Ahmed said that it was Nawaz Sharif’s effective leadership that restored peace in Karachi and Swat and Pakistan is on the path of development and people are now living a peaceful life. Addressing Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that he should think about his country where people are dying due to poverty.
He said that the entire nation stands with the Pakistani army against Indian aggression. Our enemy India should not consider our restraint as weakness, we are all united against Indian aggression, and will defeat it. Pakistanis at the back of defence forces and appreciate their sacrifices. Sheikh Aftab Ahmed said that all three armed forces of Pakistan deserve congratulations for Pakistan’s splendid defense.
He said that India still attacked secretly like in 1965, for which it will have to bear the consequences, now the enemy is licking its wounds with the befitting reply of the Pakistani forces, the rejected government of India has challenged the honor of Pakistanis by attacking in the darkness of night. He said that 240 million people are supporting defence forces and time has proven that only those with strong forces are safe and now the unity of the country will be promoted through the sacrifices of their lives.
Other speakers also paid tribute to General Asim Munir and the Pakistan Army in eloquent words and said that we are not afraid of enemy India and have crushed its nefarious intentions. The Pakistani nation stands with the Pak forces. The sacrifices of our martyrs will not go in vain.
