CHITRAL - Advisor to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Tourism and Culture, Zahid Chanzeb, announced on Friday that Rs180 million had been released to the Communication and Works Department (C&W) for the repair and restoration of the road to Kalash Valley.
“Construction work will begin soon, which will allow tourists to explore the entire valley with ease,” he said while speaking at the ongoing Chilimjusht or Chilam Joshi Festival in Bumburet, Kalash Valley. He was accompanied by former advisor Wazirzada, Director General of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority (KPCTA), Habibullah Arif, and other officials.
Zahid Chanzeb expressed satisfaction with the large number of domestic and foreign tourists attending the event.
