Khanewal  -  Under the leadership of District Police Officer Ismail Kharrak, Khanewal Police continue their successful operations against criminal elements. In a major breakthrough, three active members of the Shan alias Shana Musalli Gang have been arrested. The police recovered stolen motorcycles, mobile phones, laptops, and cash from the suspects. Interrogation is ongoing, and further recoveries are expected.

According to details, SDPO Circle Jahanian, Abdul Majeed, held a press conference on the directives of DPO Ismail Kharrak. He stated that due to the DPO’s effective strategy and leadership, Khanewal Police have intensified their crackdown on criminals, resulting in a noticeable decrease in crime rates.

He further explained that the DPO had tasked SHO Jahanian, Ghulam Abbas Murali, with arresting members of the Shan alias Shana Musalli Gang, who were involved in snatching motorcycles, mobile phones, and cash at gunpoint in Jahanian and surrounding areas. Acting on these instructions, the SHO formed a team of skilled officers from the police station. Using tireless efforts and modern technology, the team arrested three key suspects including Shan, son of Tariq Aziz, resident of 92/10-R, Khanewal, Parvez, son of Shah, resident of Grass Mandi, Multan, Ejaz alias Zulfiqar Ali, resident of 92/10-R, Khanewal.

The DSP stated that the accused were wanted in multiple armed robbery cases in Jahanian and nearby areas. During investigation motorcycle, laptop and cash were recovered. Additionally, illegal weapons used in these crimes were also recovered.

The DSP Jahanian emphasized that the protection of citizens’ lives and property is the police’s top priority, and this operation was conducted in line with that mission.
