Pakistan successfully test-fires Fatah-1 rocket

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan on Tuesday conducted a successful test flight of indigenously developed Fatah-1 — a guided multi-launch rocket system.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the weapon system is capable of delivering a conventional warhead. It will give “Pakistan Army the capability of precision target engagement deep in enemy territory,” it added.

President Dr Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa congratulated the participating troops and scientists on the successful conduct of the flight test, according to the media wing of Armed Forces.
