LAHORE - Parveen Marri, mother of PPP Sindh leader and former Provincial Information Minister Shazia Marri, called on Pakistan Muslim League President Senator Ch Shujat Hussain at the Muslim League House here on Monday and expressed full confidence in his leadership and announced to join PML.
On this occasion, PML Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Haleem Adil Shaikh and many other party leaders and workers were also present.
Father of Shazia Marri and husband of Parveen Marri was an old Muslim Leaguer. He was elected to the National Assembly twice and also served as Deputy Speaker of Sindh Provincial Assembly.
Welcoming Parveen Marri into the party fold, Ch Shujat Hussain said that with her joining the party will become effective, active and stronger in Sindh province.
