A powerful explosion struck the Gulistan Bazaar area near Jabbar Market in Quetta's Abdullah region on Sunday, leaving five people injured, according to Levies sources.
The blast, believed to have been caused by a remote-controlled device, caused extensive damage and led to the collapse of several nearby shops.
Emergency responders quickly reached the site, rescuing the injured and transporting them to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area and launched a formal investigation. Evidence is being collected from the blast site to determine the exact cause and those responsible for the attack.
