Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif arrived in Japan on an official visit after concluding her trip to Thailand.
She landed at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport, where she was accorded a warm welcome. Senior Japanese government officials and diplomatic representatives received the chief minister, extending a cordial reception on her arrival.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Japan, Abdul Hamid, along with members of the Punjab delegation, welcomed Maryam Nawaz at the airport. A large number of overseas Pakistanis residing in Japan were also present, raising slogans and greeting the chief minister with enthusiasm.
The visit marks the beginning of her engagements in Japan, where she is expected to hold important meetings with government representatives, business leaders, and members of the Pakistani community.
