India should implement the plebiscite promise to the Kashmiri nation and leadership, he said

We want the Kashmir issue to be resolved through negotiations for lasting peace in the region, he added. He was addressing a press conference at the residence of PPP Central Punjab Deputy General Secretary Usman Malik along with Syed Hassan Murtaza, Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed and Chaudhry Aslam Gul. This is not a day to be proud, but a day to praise our nation and bow down, he said. In this battle, we are winning in the political, military, media and moral fields. Pakistan patiently fought Indian propaganda. The former Federal Information Minister said that when Pakistan was attacked, we kept telling the world that we have the right to defend ourselves. Our soldiers and people were martyred. Pakistan attacked the places from where it was attacked and we shot down five Indian Rafale aircraft, he added.  He said that we repeatedly asked them to cooperate in the investigation.  Qamar Zaman Kaira said that every party and government tried to strengthen the country’s defense.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, as Foreign Minister, fought for Pakistan’s cause ike his grandfather and mother. Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has a big hand in Pakistan’s moral victor, he said.

The former Information Minister said that despite being a major victim of terrorism, we want to cooperate in ending it. He said that this is not a war of credit, Bhutto had created a broken country and a defeated nation. Instead of erasing someone’s line, I should follow my own line.

In response to various media questions, Qamar Zaman Kaira said that political parties should look at their shortcomings and the government and institutions should also adopt a policy of forgiveness.

He said that the decision to join the government or not will be taken by the Central Executive of the PPP.
