ATTOCK  -  Two persons died while 12 received multiple injuries when a car and a passenger van collided head on near Mithial Chowk on Pindi Kohat road in the limits of police station Basal. Soon after the accident, the van turned turtle and caught fire resulting in death of Noshin, 40, and Alambaz, 9, while the injured included Aneela, 30, Muhammad Hussain, 58, Walsha, 20, Faheem, 32, Muhammad Yaseen, 50, Maryam, 12, Abdullah, 16 and Owais Gul, 60, all residents of Karak while Yousaf, Shams, Shakir and Kabeer all r/o Bannu also received injuries who were on board the car. Three of the seriously injured were shifted to THQ Hospital Jand by an ambulance of Rescue 1122 while the rest of the injured were shifted by the locals to a near by private hospital.
