Bahawalpur DPO addresses citizens’ problems in open court

Bahawalpur  -  District Police Officer Muhammad Hassan Iqbal organized an open court in Circle Hasilpur. A large number of people of the area were heard in the open court and individually issued orders to the concerned officers to resolve the problems of the citizens in a timely manner. The aim of the open court is to resolve the problems of the citizens on merit without delay and ensure the provision of justice at the doorstep, DPO Muhammad Hassan Iqbal

Following vision of the Inspector General of Punjab Police regarding “justice at your doorstep”, DPO Muhammad Hassan Iqbal organised an open court in the SDPO office, in which a large number of people of the area participated. Along with the DPO, SDPO Circle Hasilpur, SHO and other officers also participated.

DPO Iqbal listened to all the petitioners in the open court and individually issued orders to the officers concerned for timely legal action and compliance report. While talking to the citizens in the open court, the DPO said that the establishment of open courts in police stations was his top priority so that the problems of the citizens could be heard and redressed at their doorsteps in a timely manner.  During the open court, the DPO issued instructions to the officers and said that the problems of the citizens should be resolved at the police station level by keeping merit first, which is our first responsibility. Issuing instructions to the SHOs, he said that they should adopt a better attitude towards the people. Service to the public and protection of their lives and property should be ensured at all costs.
