State of War & Public Awareness

In light of the ongoing political and military tensions between India and Pakistan, public awareness and preparedness are essential. The following measures are recommended for public safety:

People should limit outdoor activities unless absolutely necessary. In case of a missile or bomb attack, immediately turn off electricity and gas from the main supply, and seek shelter in a secure, enclosed space, preferably surrounded by solid walls.

Avoid relying on foreign media or unverified sources. Trust only official information shared by state outlets such as ISPR and PTV. Prepare an emergency bag or steel case containing essentials: a first aid kit, flashlight, mobile phones with chargers, non-perishable food, drinking water, and any necessary medications.

Follow government instructions, cooperate with security, health, and rescue teams, and be willing to donate blood or help in other ways. During crises, managing stress—especially among children, the elderly, and sensitive individuals—is critical. Avoid spreading distressing news and maintain calm and morale within the family. The resilience shown by people in Palestine, Syria, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, and Myanmar serves as an example. As patriotic citizens, we must remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
