KARACHI  -  Federal Board of Revenue’s Regional Tax Office One (RTO-1) Karachi, continuing actions against PoS violations, on Tuesday sealed a vape shop and a watches outlet in the metropolis. The RTO-1, in the first action in the Defence area, sealed a much-visited vape shop under the rule 150 ZEO of Sales Tax rules 2006 for issuing receipts that were not linked to FBR’s PoS invoicing system, said a statement issued here.  The tax office, in the second action in Saddar area, sealed a renowned watches shop under the provision of SRO 164/2025 as the sealed outlet was disconnected with FBR’s PoS invoicing system for more than 48 hours.

The tax authorities have stated that data-supported operations against PoS violations are aimed at ensuring compliance over PoS regulations. The tax authorities further added that PoS violations are a major fiscal crime and the violators of these regulations will be dealt strictly in accordance with laws.
