Vehari  -  On the directions of the district administration, the District Population Welfare Office Vehari organized a colorful Educational Family Festival with large participation of citizens, women, and children.Chief guests were MPA & Chairman Standing Committee on School Education Malik Nosher Ahmed Langrial, former MNA Ch. Nazir Ahmed Arain, and former MPA Sardar Khalid Mehmood Dogar, while District Population Welfare Officer Ghufran Saqib Chopra welcomed them. The festival also drew Coordinator Civil Society Network Burewala Syed Zahid Mashhadi, social worker Saina Batool, and teachers from various institutions.Stalls by Social Welfare Department, Rescue 1122, Civil Defence, colleges, and cultural vendors added charm, with special stalls for women. Highlights included Qawwali Night, Bird Show, Tug of War, and traditional Jhumar, alongside educational games and family planning/health awareness.In their speeches, Malik Nosher Langrial emphasized awareness to balance population and resources, Ch. Nazir Arain called for unity, sacrifice, and discipline for national progress, and Sardar Khalid Mehmood Dogar said the festival combined fun with public awareness. Speakers lauded the efforts of the District Population Welfare Office Vehari under the vision of Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz and guidance of DC Vehari Imrana Tauqeer.
