MIRPUR MATHELO  -  On the occasion of Pakistan’s historic victory against Indian aggression, the district administration Ghotki celebrated Thanksgiving Day at DC Complex Mirpur Mathelo.

On this occasion a colorful event was held, Pakistan’s flag was hoisted and saluted, while the “Pakistan Zindabad” rally was also organized.

According to the details, the district administration, like the country, celebrated Ghotki on the occasion of Pakistan’s historic victory against Indian aggression. In this connection, a spectacular event was held at DC Complex Mirpur Mathelo, in which district officers and employees of various departments including Deputy Commissioner Ghotki Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali, SSP Dr. Samiullah Soomro participated in large numbers.

On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner and the SSP hoisted the flag of Pakistan, saluted, and led the “Pakistan Zindabad” rally. Addressing the rally, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali said, “Today, we thank us that a force that was more than us, with which the powerful countries of the world stood, we have defeated it by the power of our faith and the unity of the nation.” We do not forget the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect the country. We pay tribute to the martyrs’ mothers. We pay tribute to the Pak Army, the Pak Air Force, the Rangers, the police and all the guards who defend the homeland on every front.

Speaking on the occasion, SSP Dr Samiullah Soomro said that the purpose of celebrating Thanksgiving is to thank Allah that we have been in the battlefield. The Pak army and the Pak Air Force personnel have surprised the world by defeating the enemy.

Later, the Deputy Commissioner and the SSP planted plants in the premises of the DC Complex and went to the DHQ Hospital and distributed sweets to the patients.
