LAHORE   -   The Ma’araka-e-Haq National Junior Squash Championship 2025, organized by Punjab Squash Association, got underway in Lahore on Sunday. The opening ceremony was graced by Secretary Garrison Greens Lahore Athar Bhatti, PSF Director Irfan Asghar, and former World No.3 Gogi Allauddin. Senior Vice President PSA Sohail Khan, Admin Vice President M Mansoor, and PSA Director Mamoon Khan were also in attendance. In the U-15 category, Muhammad bin Atif (Punjab) battled past Malik Muhammad (KP) 3-2, Fawad Khan (KP) overcame fellow KP player M Anas Khalil 3-1. In the U-17 category, Mustafa Irfan (Punjab) defeated M Ayan (Punjab) in straight games 3-0. Similarly, Punjab’s Umar Farooq Butt outclassed compatriot Sufyan Shahid 3-0. The event is being played at the Punjab Squash Complex and Lahore Garrison Greens. Matches up to the quarterfinal stage are being played at the Punjab Squash Complex, while the semifinals and finals will be hosted at the Lahore Garrison Golf & Country Club.
