The Election Commission of Pakistan (EC) announced on Thursday the schedule for Senate elections. According to the ECP Secretary Kunwar Dilshad, polling will take place on March 4 for 50 seats in the Senate. The nomination papers will be received from 11 to 13th February. The National Assembly and four Provincial Assemblies will have simultaneous one-day polling and objections to nomination papers can be filed till February 17. The newly elected Senators will take oath on March 12.
