The City District Administration has chalked out foolproof security plan for Eid Mil-Un-Nabbi. According to details, tight security arrangements have been made for security of 4,000 processions while drum beating in processions have been banned. 150 close circuit cameras would be installed at processions routes and bomb disposal squad would clear the routes for processions while heavy police contingent would be deployed at all routes of processions. The procession routes would be closed for all type of traffic and ban has been imposed on pillion riding during processions. There would be high alert on Eid Miald Un Nabbi and holidays of police staff have been cancelled. The leading procession would start from Markazi Jamia Masjid and would be ended at Markazi Masjid Cantt after passing through Waris Khan and Committee chowk.
