Senior journalist Najam Sethi took oath as caretaker chief minister of Punjab on Wednesday.
Punjab Governor Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood administered the oath to Sethi at Governor House, Lahore.
 Sethi's name had been proposed by the opposition comprising the PPP and the PML-Q. Its other nominee was retired Justice Syed Zahid Bukhari.
