NATO ask for air transportation facility to move its equipment

PESHAWAR- Because of the quick withdrawal of NATO forces from Afghanistan via Torkham border, the NATO army equipment is being speedily transported to Karachi via motorway and Hayatabad Ring Road.

Following the recently held Presidential elections in Afghanistan, more than 16 armored vehicles and other military transportation have been relocated to Karachi. Around 10 massive containers traverse Peshawar daily. Reliable sources informed that the permission for air transportation had also been sought from the Pakistani government in order to ensure speedy transportation of NATO military hardware.
