At least three people were killed when a bomb exploded inside the residence of Balochistan's provincial finance minister Asim Ali Kurd on Thursday, a private TV reported. The minister remained safe as he was not present at his house when the blast occurred. SP Sariyab said it was a remote-controlled blast and the device was planted in a car parked inside the ministers house at Quettas Railway colony. Police parties arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area. Those killed were the servants of the minister. The blast partially damaged the house and destroyed two vehicles parked inside the house. Quetta police chief Abid Hussain Nautkani confirmed the blast near the house of Balochistan provincial finance minister Asim Kurd Ghilo.No group has claimed responsibility of the incident.
