Security forces continued battling militants in various areas of Malakand division on Monday. Curfew has been imposed in parts of Malakand division. Meanwhile, militants occupied the house of the National Assembly member Malik Azmat. Security forces continued pounding the suspected hideouts of militants in the upper parts of Tehsil Matta. Fighter jets also continued flying low over Mingora, Amankot, Rahimabad, Qamber, Saidu Sharif and Shagai causing panic among the residents. The residents kept leaving the area for safer places during the relaxation in curfew yesterday.
